What is BYD 500 Promo 2026 Plan?
The plan comes with RM 500 worth of free charging. This plan may be available for eligible customers subject to the applicable programme terms and conditions. Please refer to BYD Sime Darby Beyond Auto Sdn Bhd for eligibility and further details. This plan entitles owners with 100% discount on charging entitlement at all chargEV and DC Handal operated chargers on the chargEV app.
How do I Redeem the Plan?
To activate the Plan, Use the Redeem button on the home page and enter your Invitation Code to Redeem. Follow the steps on screen to complete the process.
How do I become eligible for the Plan?
This plan is available to eligible customers who purchase an EV from BYD during the selected campaign period.
Can this plan be used together with another plan?
No, the plan cannot be combined with other promotions or offers. Customers are entitled to the benefits of only one plan at any given time.
Can I upgrade / convert my existing plan to this Plan?
Upgrades from any existing plan to this plan are not possible.
Can I use the plan on all roaming chargers?
No the plan is not applicable to other roaming partner chargers such as JomCharge, Gentari, only DC Handal.
What is the validity of the Plan once activated?
The benefits are valid for six (6) months from the date of activation or until the usage cap of RM 500.00 has been reached, whichever comes first.
Is the plan applicable for chargers in Singapore ?
No, it only applies to chargers in Malaysia
Where do I get a code to redeem ?
Eligible customers will be provided with the code by BYD (Sime Darby Beyond Auto Sdn Bhd), please inquire with your EV sales representative.
How do I keep track of my discount cap ?
You can check the balance from this Plan from your Member page on the chargEV app. Once redeemed, your balance will show on your Member area and update as you charge part of the discount.
General Terms & Conditions
1. Promotion Exclusivity: The plan cannot be combined with other promotions or offers. Users are entitled to the benefits of only one plan at any given time.
2. Campaign Period: This campaign is organized and managed by BYD during the selected campaign period.
3. Eligibility: This plan is offered to eligible customers who purchase an EV from BYD during the selected campaign period.
4. Usage Area: The 100% off from the plan entitlement is only applicable to chargers in Malaysia that are wholly owned and operated by chargEV and DC Handal, excluding idle fees where applicable.
5. Validity Period: The benefits are valid for six (6) months from the date of activation or until the usage cap of RM 500.00 has been reached, whichever comes first.
6. Only one plan can be active at any given time.
7. Users shall be solely responsible for any damage, loss and/or expiry of the code.
8. Once activated, the plan cannot be cancelled and are non-refundable, either in cash, in part or full.
9. The plan is strictly limited to one (1) registered vehicle/EV only. Sharing, alternating, or using the same plan across multiple vehicles/EVs is not permitted.
10. Fair Usage Policy: Usage is subject to chargEV’s fair usage policy to prevent abuse.
11. Fraud Monitoring: chargEV reserves the right to suspend the plan in the event of suspected fraud or misuse against the defined terms and conditions.
12. chargEV reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to vary any of the terms and conditions by addition, deletion, modification, amendment, or otherwise any of the terms and conditions.
