1. What is the Yearly Essential Plan? The Yearly Essential Plan offers an exceptional value for electric vehicle owners, providing 50% off AC and DC charging at chargEV stations, along with RM50 free credits each month for a year. The membership costs RM788 and is exclusive to B2C customers.
2. What are the differences between the chargEV plan and the chargEV Yearly Essential Plan? Under the chargEV plan, members get to enjoy discounted charging rates for chargEV AC chargers, starting from a RM0.20/kWh discount, and a RM0.40/kWh discount for DC chargers at Berjaya Times Square, Kuala Lumpur. As for the Yearly Essential Plan, members will enjoy a 50% discount on chargEV’s AC and DC chargers, plus a RM50 credit per month.
3. Is the previous chargEV membership plan still available, or will it be discontinued? We are phasing out the chargEV membership plan effective 31 May 2024. Members who are currently subscribed to the chargEV membership plan can continue to enjoy its benefits until their membership expires and new subscription for the chargEV membership will no longer be available.
4. Can I combine the Yearly Essential Plan with other promotions? No, the Yearly Essential Plan cannot be combined with other promotions or offers. Members are limited to the benefits of only one plan at any given time.
5. Can I upgrade / convert my chargEV plan to this Yearly Essential Plan? At this moment upgrade is not available but we are always looking to improve our products and services. We will inform if there are any updates to our terms and conditions,
6. My chargEV membership plan is still active, can I subscribe to chargEV Yearly Essential Plan? Yes, you can. However, only one plan will be active at any given time. The active plan will be determined by the default plan settings in your ‘Profile & Memberships’. You can change the default plan by going to ‘More’ > ‘Profile & Memberships’ and toggling the selection of your available membership plan.
7. How do I request for a physical membership card for Yearly Essential Plan? You will have the option to select a physical membership card during your registration process. A checkbox option is available for you to request a physical membership card under Step 2.
Note: A delivery fee of RM15 will be charged for delivering the physical card.

Yes, the discounted charging rates under the Yearly Essential Plan are available at nationwide chargEV charging stations that are wholly owned by chargEV. You can verify this by opening the chargEV App, navigating to the Map > Locate your nearest ChargEV station indicated with icon. Tap on Start Charging > Check on the Operator under Station Details where the Operator is chargEV.

9. When can I start to enjoy my discount? A 50% discount will be immediately applied upon subscription to the Yearly Essential Plan.
10. Where can I use the RM50 credit? Your RM50 monthly credit is only applicable at chargEV charging stations that are wholly owned by chargEV.
11. What happens if I don't use my monthly RM50 credit? Unused credits from your RM50 monthly free credits will expire and do not roll over to the next month.
12. What is the validity of the Yearly Essential Plan? The membership benefits are valid for one year from the date of activation.
13. I have my existing chargEV membership card. Can I reuse this physical card for the chargEV Yearly Essential Plan? No, you will need to obtain a replacement card, and a delivery fee of RM15 will be charged for delivering the physical card.
14. What measures are in place to prevent abuse of the plan? We employ a fair usage policy to prevent misuse of our services. Additionally, chargEV reserves the right to suspend any card or plan in the event of suspected fraud.
15. How are plan updates communicated to the members? We notify our members of any plan updates or changes through email or direct communications to ensure you are always informed.

17. Does the 50% off applied for Charger in Singapore? No, it only applies for wholly owned ChargEV operated charger in Malaysia.
18. How can I utilize my wallet balance? Available credit in the wallet will be consumed for each transaction perform till the credit amount is exhausted. Thereafter, any different or subsequent transaction will be deducted from registered credit/debit card.

• Promotion Exclusivity: The Membership Plan cannot be combined with other promotions or offers. Users are limited to enjoying the benefits of only one plan at any given time.
• Fraud Monitoring: chargEV reserves the right to suspend any card or plan in the event of suspected fraud. Should such an incident occur.
• Service Area Limitation: The discounted access only applies to chargEV charging stations, wholly owned by chargEV.
• Fair Usage Policy: Subject to chargEV’s fair usage policy to prevent abuse.
• Plan Updates: Terms may be subject to changes, with notifications to users.
• Expiry of Credits: Unused monthly credits expire and do not roll over
• Validity Period: Membership benefits expire after one year from the date of activation unless specified otherwise.
• Campaign Period: This offer's end-date is has been extended from 31st August 2024 to 31st October 2024.
• User will receive free RM50 charging credit 2 weeks after subscription.
• More than one active membership plan: Member have the option to subscribe to the chargEV Yearly Essential Plan even if member current chargEV plan is still active. However, be mindful that only one plan can be active at any particular time.
• Reuse of existing membership card card: Unfortunately, a new card must be acquired. Please be advised that a delivery fee of RM15 applies for the shipment of the replacement card.
Order Cancellation and Refund Policy
• Membership subscription cannot be cancelled and is non-refundable. You shall be charged accordingly for the membership purchased once payment for the membership is successful.
• Notwithstanding the above, a request for refund shall only be initiated and entertained by chargEV in the following limited circumstances:

- Request for refund is to be submitted to support@chargev.my stating the reason for the refund.
- Refunds should be made as soon as possible but no later than 7 days from the purchase date of the membership
- The refund will not include the membership card and delivery fee.
• Any refunds pursuant to the Order Cancellation and Refund Policy will be made:

- in the same method of payment and to the same account which was utilised previously for your initial purchase of the membership via chargEV App.
- As soon as possible between 7 to 14 working days after the notification from us of the grant of the Order Cancellation and Refund Policy.
