How To - Set Up Payment Preferences for Low Wallet Balance

Setting up payment preferences for a low wallet balance is important to ensure a seamless and uninterrupted user experience. Here is the guide on the available options and how you can setup.
 

What payment preference options can I choose from? You can select one of three payment preferences to decide how your charging sessions are billed.

○ Wallet only (Default)
Your charging session is paid entirely from your wallet balance. 
Charging will stop immediately once your wallet balance runs out. For any residual charges or idle fees, the outstanding amount must be cleared through the outstanding payment process.

○ Wallet first, then card 
Uses your wallet balance first, the rest is billed to your debit/credit card. 
Your wallet balance is used first. If your wallet doesn’t have enough to cover the full session, the remaining amount is automatically charged to your saved debit/credit card.
Note: A pre-authorization hold will be placed for the charging transaction. Any unused pre-authorized amount will be released back to your card once the session ends. 

○ Debit/Credit card only 
The entire session is billed to your debit/credit card. 
Your wallet balance will not be used. Charging continues without interruption as long as your card is valid and within the pre-authorization hold limit.

Here are the simple steps to setup:

1. From the main menu, tap on More > Preferences.

2. Under the Choose how you'd like to pay when your wallet balance is low section, you can select your preferred option.
